In Austria, about 2,000 children and adolescents are without health insurance. The Vienna Child and Youth Advocacy (KIJA) has pointed this out. Medical emergencies, accidents, and hospital stays are not covered for them. Participation in school trips, project days, or holiday camps is also not possible for those affected.
